If vegetarians have a lower risk of diabetes? Good question, it looks that way but researcher compile a list factors including blood sugar, blood cholesterol, blood pressure, wave five and body mass. When people have elevated factors, they've metabolic syndrome which increases the chance of developing diabetes.

When 700 people were studied, 23 out of ever 100 vegetarians were found to have at least three metabolic syndrome factors compared with 39 out of every 109 vegetarians and 37 out of every 100 semi vegetarians. Were the vegetarians lighter? They were, about 4 points lighter in terms of body mass index.
