Are Yoga and Tai Chi Effective to Relieve Pain?

Yoga and tai chi, we think they're effective for pain relief, tai chi is also good for balance and for some of the other things really it's relaxation, anxiety can of course make pain worse. Yoga can be good for the same reasons but one word of caution is sometimes people push themselves a little bit further in yoga, they have to be careful because people can actually get muscular skeletal injuries during exercises as well, so there's kind of a threshold there that people should be cautious, but if they can do these thing they take it slow.

If they are cautious with it they can actually benefit.
