Bio
Tanya Zuckerbrot MS, RD, has done the impossible- she’s made fiber sexy. The New York City dietitian developed her specialized high-fiber diet over a decade ago for patients with cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Not only did these patients improve their clinical conditions, across the board they also lost weight … without hunger. This led Tanya to write the bestselling book The F-Factor Diet (Putnam, 2007). Tanya then set out to create great-tasting high-fiber foods to help people meet their daily recommended intake of fiber. In January 2011 she partnered with Hain Celestial and became the first registered dietitian to have her own high-fiber food line in national grocery distribution. In addition to counseling private patients, Tanya is the official Dietitian to The Miss Universe Organization, is a contributor for Cooking Light magazine, Women’s Health Magazine, and Fox, and is the Director of the Nutrition Advisory Board for M Booth. Tanya frequently contributes to national media and consults for food companies.
