In December 1996, Nancy Harris Bonk slipped on a patch of black ice, causing a traumatic brain injury that has led to headaches, chronic pain, dizziness, short-term memory loss and occasional irritability ever since. She now uses her experiences and education to support, educate and advocate for people with migraine disease and headache disorders. To do this, Harris Bonk attends national and………… More More More More international scientific headache conferences and has earned continuing education credit hours in migraine and headache from the American Headache Society, the Penn State College of Medicine, the Primary Care Network, the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences and the Center for Health Care Education.Nancy also founded the Western New York Migraine and Headache Disorder Support Group in 2011. The misson of the WNY Migraine and Headache Disorder Support Group is to support, educate and alleviate the stigma that surrounds migraine and headaches.
