Here is a good article on ACL prevention for our younger generation. It seems that so many more young people are suffering these injuries, you would think that with the increased access these days to training facilities, personal trainers, education etc… that the numbers would be going down. It goes to show that not all training is created equal. I’m a big believer in neuromuscular training! Teaching landing mechanics to our young athletes is so important, the ability to stop before we try to make some one faster is critical. Unfortunately it’s not always the “Sexy” sales pitch most of the parents hear.
