Elizabeth Josefsberg is the Director of Brand Advocacy and a Leader for Weight Watchers. Best known for her hands-on involvement with Oscar winning actress and musician, Jennifer Hudson, Liz counsels both high-profile talent and everyday members on all facets of weight loss, balance and nutrition.
Liz started her relationship with Weight Watchers as a client more than 8 years ago. Her successful transformation, coupled with her passion for the program made her quick to become an active team member. An NASM Certified personal trainer, Liz’s deep knowledge of the weight loss process is attributed to her personal journey as well as working daily in the field with hundreds of people to help them achieve their lifestyle goals. In addition creating/producing content for the Company website and blog, Liz has lent her expertise to the development of the Company’s most successful and innovative programs to-date, including the 2011/2012 PointsPlus Program.
Liz has been instrumental in the promotion of the Weight Watchers brand, philosophy and lifestyle serving as an ambassador and national spokeswomen with appearances on shows like Dr. Oz, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Doctors, and several local news segments. In 2011, Liz co-hosted an episode with Dr. Oz to announce the first-ever Dr. Oz's Transformation Nation: Million Dollar You program. Her background in theatre and production made her well-suited to develop and guest host a new segment for NBC’s LXTV called Weight Loss Wednesdays. Liz’s perspective and counsel has appeared in various national print publications such as People Magazine, The New York Times, Ebony, Women's World, and Us Magazine. Additionally, Liz will be prominently featured in Jennifer Hudson’s new 2012 memoir entitled, "I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down”.
A working mother of two, Liz is an accessible resource with a simple mission: to educate, empower and inspire others to live and sustain a healthier life by giving them the tools and practices that will fit seamlessly into their lifestyle.
