Dr. Stephen Lucie


Dr. Stephen Lucie is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. For more than two decades, he has provided his expertise to patients through his position with the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute. His work at the institute ranges from injection therapies to treating trauma and fractures in patients’ bones and joints. Dr. Stephen Lucie has also held a number of administrative positions during his time with the institute, including secretary, vice chairman, and Chairman of the board. In addition to his work with the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, he was president of the Duval County Medical Society in 2009. He is the current vice chairman of the Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program and serves as head team physician for the Jacksonville University Dolphins, Jacksonville Sharks, and the Bolles School.

Dr. Lucie earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Prior to enrolling in the program, he earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Chapel Hill’s University of North Carolina. Following his graduation from the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Lucie completed his Orthpaedic Residency at The University of Colorido Affiliated Hospitals in Denver.
