Dr. Daniel Dunlop has twenty four years of experience in the wellness, health and productivity arena.
Dr. Dunlop spent the first 18 years of his career in clinical practice, caring for patients in New York and Connecticut. He specialized in Chiropractic Sports Medicine and rehabilitation; focusing on teaching patients mind/body skills to self-manage their health through evidence-based, active care programs.
Dan’s experience includes working as senior project manager in the eHealth and Wellness, Clinical Product & Integration Unit at Aetna Inc, where he had the opportunity to work on the initial phases of product development to address issues of childhood obesity, tele-health, biometric screening, and health assessment design. Dan was responsible for working in a small group to implement, develop, launch, and execute the enterprise-wide wellness strategy.
Dan’s recent projects include supporting the New York Business Group on Health, Mental Health Task Force Depression Management Project. The goal of this project is to promote screening and treatment of depression in the NY metropolitan area in the primary care setting. Dan’s passion is to educate the public on the benefits of wellness. He is a certified wellness speaker for the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Currently, Dan serves as the EVP of Corporate Development at Healthscape Partners, a healthcare consulting firm, specializing in promoting innovative early stage development healthcare companies.
