Carolyn Lammersfeld, MS


Carolyn Lammersfeld, MS, RD, CSO, LD, CNSC is the Vice President of Integrative Medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America—as a clinical leader, she oversees the implementation of evidenced-based, whole-person care. Lammersfeld says, "At CTCA, we understand people who have cancer have needs in addition to cancer treatment—physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Our team of experienced clinicians works together in an integrative setting with each patient's oncologist to make sure all those needs are met so that patients tolerate their cancer treatment with as few side effects as possible, and maintain as normal a quality of life as possible." Lammersfeld is a licensed and registered dietitian who is board certified in oncology nutrition and nutrition support. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. She completed a post-graduate internship and master's degree in clinical nutrition at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rush University in Chicago.
