While relaxing in the mountains this past weekend, I was reading an article in one of my fitness related magazines about obesity continuing to spiral out of control when it hit me. I wonder if anyone else notices that all these magazines regurgitate the same stuff month after month, year after year, yet we are fatter than ever.

Want to know why?  Diets don’t work. There is no magical way to shed the pounds and keep them off like so many of those magazines promise.  It takes lifestyle changes. We need to consume nutrient-dense, whole foods in their most raw form.  We need to exercise consistently and be dedicated to a healthy lifestyle.  If you are not willing to work hard, and make the necessary lifestyle changes, you will continue to be overweight and most likely gain more weight as the years go by.
