How can I sit less during the day?
To sit less during the day, you need to get yourself up and moving around, even if that means setting an alarm for a break, or doing exercises in your chair.

So sitting down is one thing, but sitting and being still is another. It's like adding fuel to the flame.
You have to learn how to move. And what I tell a lot of my clients is to learn how to fidget. Moving around and fidget. Shift your butt.
Sit on something that is not comfortable. It's going to make you have to move. Also, set your phone to go for bathroom breaks.
Get up. Do something. I got to go to the bathroom. OK. Every hour, you set it for maybe a minute. Go to the bathroom. That's going to get you to get up out of the chair.
What I call a chair is a coffin. So the chair can be either the coffin you're sitting in, or it could be a tool that you're going to use. OK.
Knee raises, seated jumping jacks, throw some punches, anything. Add movement into your day. And trust me, it may not sound like a lot,
but at the end of the day, your calorie burn is going to be so much more than just sitting still. Look at me, guys.
I'm just sitting still. Versus, yo, look at me, guys. I'm fidgeting. I got ants in my pants. I'm moving around the place. Move!
