Is it normal for boys to have wet dreams?

Absolutely. It means the plumbing in a boy's sexual system--primarily the circulatory system, which controls the blood flow necessary to form an erection--is working just fine. But, just like erections, the age at which some guys get wet dreams is younger than for others. Most guys will start having wet dreams--ejaculating while asleep--somewhere between ages 10 and 15. Wet dreams remind us of how closely the mind and body are related. So if you find a gooey spot in the morning, it does not mean you’ve wet yourself.
Most guys who have wet dreams (not all do) outgrow them within a few years, when their hormone levels settle down.
