If you are taking doxorubicin or eliglustat, lorcaserin can lead to side effects and should be avoided.

If you are taking metoprolol, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, or a PDE5 inhibitor, lorcaserin may not be a good option for you.
