Will I need a tummy tuck after weight loss surgery to fix loose skin?

Everyone has loose skin after surgery. There will be different degrees of it, depending on your genes, age, weight and smoking status. Some people want a tummy tuck especially when their belly skin hangs down onto their thighs or they have breakdown in the flap of skin that hangs off the belly, called a pannus. 
Some people will require a tummy tuck after weight loss surgery to fix loose skin, and others won’t. The need for tummy tuck will be evaluated after you have lost all your excess weight.
