Is there a cure for Wegener's granulomatosis?


Wegener's granulomatosis is treated successfully in the majority of cases, but there is no "cure." Early detection is vital to a good prognosis. Medications can make symptoms to go away (remission). However, the disease may flare up again in the future - about 50 percent of people with Wegener's granulomatosis will experience a relapse - and medications may be needed for life.
