Week 3 is very early in your baby's development, so there's a lot going on even though you may not realize it. This early in pregnancy you may start to notice symptoms like fatigue, nausea or vomiting, and frequent urination. During week 3, you may be able to take a pregnancy test and have it come out positive. You may also notice "implantation spotting," or very light spotting that may be caused when the egg implants in the uterine wall. Especially if you've been trying to get pregnant, you should be following good health habits because harmful substances can have a significant effect on your baby, even this early. Eat a balanced diet, get plenty of calcium and iron, and exercise regularly. If you have any questions about what's going on during week 3 of your pregnancy, talk to your doctor.
