During week 26 of pregnancy, many women experience mild to intense back pain. Also, during this time you should watch out for certain risk factors and complications like gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, anemia, and pre term labor. Although preeclampsia does not usually show up until after 37 weeks, there is a possibility that it could begin to develop earlier. Also, pre-term labor can happen at anytime past 24 weeks. Fortunately, with immediate and aggressive medical help, your baby may be okay if it is born during this time.
