Make sure you keep exercising and eating well,  but understand that your work out may be harmful to your child if it is too intense. If you have difficulty breathing or have pain or dizziness, your routine is too difficult and should be lessened. Also, if your doctor discovers that you have an iron-deficiency, be sure to take the supplements he advises to avoid malnutrition for your child. If your doctor finds that you have gestational diabetes, be sure to follow the recommendations about diet, exercise, and medication. Untreated gestational diabetes can make a vaginal birth difficult and cause problems in your baby's blood sugar levels.
