In week 13, the first trimester is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean that all your healthy habits should, too! At this point, prenatal care should focus on continuing to eat well, get enough exercise, take prenatal vitamins, and avoid harmful substances. Make sure you're getting enough iron, calcium, and protein through the foods you eat, even if you're taking a vitamin supplement. Even though you probably just had an appointment with your doctor, don't be afraid to call if you have any questions about prenatal care this week.
