By the end of week 10 of pregnancy, your baby is officially considered a fetus instead of an embryo! During the fetal period, your baby's organs and other tissue will develop very quickly. Already, many of your baby's organs are beginning to function, including the brain, liver, intestines, and kidneys. Your baby's elbows and wrists are bent, and knees and ankles may also be apparent. The neck is also starting to develop to support the huge head, which currently accounts for about half your baby's total length!
