Ask your doctor what you should do if you miss a dose of Meribin. Do not take a double dose of Meribin to make up for a missed pill without first talking to your doctor.

Meribin contains 5 milligrams of biotin, a B vitamin needed for the proper functioning of the nervous system, normal metabolism, and other body processes. Most people can get enough biotin by eating biotin-rich foods, including cooked eggs, whole grains, soybeans and other legumes, bananas, nuts and nut butters. However, certain medical conditions (such as Crohn's disease) or medications (such as antibiotics or anticonvulsant drugs) can raise your risk for biotin deficiency and increase the likelihood that you'll need a biotin supplement such as Meribin.
