What foods and alcohol interact with Meribin?

There are no known interactions between any drugs and Meribin, a supplement that contains 5 milligrams (mg) of biotin, a B vitamin found naturally in your body and in some foods.

Some studies indicate that people who drink large amounts of alcohol may increase their risk of biotin deficiency. Raw egg whites contain a protein that binds with biotin in the intestine, preventing it from being absorbed by the body. Talk to your doctor about your personal biotin needs.
