Experts do not know if vitamin K1 is passed into breast milk. Many drugs do get passed into breast milk, especially when they are increased in the mother's blood or diet. Many of these drugs do not pose risks to a nursing baby. However, it is best to be cautious. If you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking vitamin K1.
