What should I avoid while taking pyridoxine?

Pyridoxine -- B6 -- generally does not have restrictions on food or activity. However, your doctor may have some additional restrictions based on your particular situation, so talk to your doctor before starting pyridoxine. Avoid taking other vitamins or supplements that contain vitamin B6 while taking pyridoxine because it is possible to overdose. Although pyridoxine is generally considered safe during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, it should not be ingested in excess of the recommended dietary allowance (RDA). Talk to your doctor if you are breastfeeding and want to take pyridoxine.
