Try to eat more foods rich in vitamin B6, including beans, dairy products, meat and vegetables. Vitamin B6 is effective for treating some seizures in infants and certain types of anemia. It is relatively certain that vitamin B6 can reduce the amount of homocysteine in the blood, which is linked to heart disease. Some people use vitamin B6 for other conditions. However, research has not proven that it works to treat premenstrual syndrome, autism, carpal tunnel syndrome or prevent strokes.
