Vibrio parahaemolyticus food poisoning is a bacterial infection of the gastrointestinal system that generally runs its course in about three days. The infected person typically experiences symptoms, such as diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, headache, and fever. These gradually diminish over the course of the infection. A recovered person usually experiences no long-standing effects.
