Verrucous carcinoma is an uncommon subtype of squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer. Verrucous carcinoma most commonly affects the oral cavity, larynx, genitals, anal area, and soles of the feet. Verrucous carcinoma tumors are often found in scars or ulcers that won't heal. Verrucous carcinoma is pretty uncommon, but luckily it's quite treatable because it doesn't spread very quickly.
