Can methotrexate cure vasculitis?

The normal medications for treating vasculitis are corticosteroids, such as prednisone, and cytotoxic medications, like methotrexate. The length of treatment depends on the severity of the illness.  It can be temporary or lifelong.  Your physician can monitor your progress with blood work.  The length of time the treatment will continue will be based on the results of that blood work.
