What are the side effects of Comvax?

Comvax is usually tolerated well. Common side effects include:

  • soreness, redness, or swelling at the injection site
  • drowsiness
  • irritability, crying
  • lack of appetite
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • low fever

Rare adverse side effects may include an allergic reaction to the vaccine, seizures, low blood platelet count, and some others. Contact a doctor immediately if you notice any side effects that concern you or that persist and worsen.
