What is the influenza A H1N1 monovalent vaccine?

Influenza A H1N1 monovalent vaccine is used to prevent infection with the influenza A H1N1 virus, also known as the "swine flu." The vaccine can be given by injection or by nasal spray. It does not prevent infection with other types of influenza.
