Boostrix (Tdap) can negatively interact with some other vaccines. Inform your doctor of your vaccine history, especially if you have had Boostrix or a similar vaccine before. Medications that weaken the immune system, including steroids (inhaled, oral, nasal or injectable), medications to treat autoimmune disorders (such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis) and transplant rejection medications, can also prevent the immune system from responding adequately to the vaccine. Other medications may interact with Boostrix and you should consult your doctor or pharmacist. Tell your doctor about all medications, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, supplements and herbs you are taking.
