Do I need to follow the USDA MyPlate exactly to eat healthy?

MyPlate are guidelines to a healthy diet. These are suggestions to make you more aware so that over the course of a day, a week, a month, and the year you will be feeding your body the nutrients you need to promote health. If you increase your fruit and vegetable consumption, eat more whole grains, and make the protein you eat lean, you will be on your way to better health.
