Pelvic exercises are all about tightening and contracting your pelvic muscles. The goal is to squeeze and lift your rectal area. But don’t tighten your belly, thighs or buttocks. Women should squeeze and lift the vaginal area as well. Feel free to watch yourself in a mirror. You can also place your hands on your belly, thighs, and buttocks so they don’t move. Keep trying until the correct muscles are being used.
