Currently, modern medicine does not have a cure for any form of cancer. However, with early diagnosis and treatment, urethral cancer can be treated successfully. At this time, about 60% of people treated for early urethral cancer are still alive five years after treatment. However, even if successfully treated, those with late-stage urethral cancer have an extremely high chance of having their cancer return.
