Is there a cure for ulcers?

An ulcer is a treatable condition. Though peptic ulcers can cause serious complications, they can heal after treatment. Some ulcers will go away on their own after a few weeks, such as canker sores. Ulcers that have progressed to a late phase, such as an untreated peptic ulcer or a stage IV pressure sore, take longer to treat and may require surgery.
