My shoulders are constantly feeling tight; what is a good stretch?

If your shoulders are tight, a combination of stretches and strengthening techniques is warranted. Try this routine for a few weeks and your shoulders should feel much better.

  • Foam Roll: Thoracic Spine
  • Chest Stretch
  • Ball Lat Stretch
  • Floor Cobra
  • Standing Dumbbell Scaption (V-raise)

 

You can do this exercise anywhere and at anytime called the Two Things at Once.

This will stretch your shoulders and upper back. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent.

Reach both of your arms to the left at shoulder height while looking over your right shoulder. Hold the stretch and take 3 deep breaths.

Moving slowly, reverse sides, reaching to the right while looking over your left shoulder. Repeat once.

Keep your shoulders even and relaxed down.
