How should I do pectoral press exercises?

Preparation

  1. Sit at machine.
  2. Make any adjustments necessary to fit body.
  3. Select desired weight.
  4. Maintain a drawn-in position (keep abdomen tight).
  5. Keep the chin tucked.

Movement

  1. Press weight forward, until arms are fully extended.
  2. Hold.
  3. Slowly return weight to original position, by flexing elbows and allowing shoulder blades to retract and depress.
