Try this routine out: Band walking-15 steps side ways and 15 back. Hands on the wall and band rear leg raises and then side leg raises-15 reps on both sides and then do it all over again. ;)
There are a number of exercises that will help tone the hips such as squats, lunges, step-ups, and deadlifts.  A couple of great hip toning exercises that exercisers of all levels can perform are the ball bridge and side-lying leg raise.  Together, these two exercises challenge the butt and hip muscles.  To do the ball bridge, follow the technique descrived below. Lie on your back with a stability ball between your shoulder blades, head resting on the ball, and hands on the hips. Place your feet on floor, hip-width apart and pointed straight ahead. Draw-in your belly button to tighten the abs and squeeze the butt muscles, while lifting your pelvis until your hips are in-line with your knees and shoulders.  Pause at the top for a few seconds and then lower your pelvis back down towards the floor. Repeat this sequence 10-20 times.  Perform the side-lying leg raise by using the technique described below. Lie on one side of the body with your back slightly away from a wall, bend your bottom knee up toward your stomach, and keep your top leg straight.  Draw-in your belly button to tighten the abs.  Next, while keeping the heel of the top foot against the wall, slowly raise your top leg up sideways approximately 30-45 degrees, keeping the knee straight and toes pointing slightly upward.  Try to keep your upper body and leg aligned and avoid hiking the hip and arching the lower back.  Pause at the top for 2 seconds and slowly lower your leg back to the start.  Perform 10-15 repetitions and then switch sides.
