No you do not need a specific diet to follow to go along with barre3 classes. However, when you do combine diet with exercise you will achieve the biggest health benefit.  A well-balanced diet that includes a variety of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat animal proteins will help you meet your health goals.

As with all exercise, barre3 results will be most effectively achieved by eating mindfully. In my experience, regular exercise leads to an increase in body awareness and mindful eating which leads to weight loss. Diet can not be ignored. I recommend a diet including lots of fresh, seasonal and natural foods, moderate proportions, and drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
