Is cross-training beneficial for weight loss?

Cross traininig is great for weight.  The variety of things you can do to improve calorie burn during cross training is limitless.  Most people get stuck in a rut and do the same thing over and over again.  This causes you to hit that plateau and stop seeing results.  Cross training helps you avoid that by challenging yourself with different types of workout routines combined together.  Just remember there is no one thing that will be the best for weight loss.  Just make sure you are changing things up on a regular basis so you can see continual weight loss week after week.

Yes, cross-training can be beneficial for weight loss. Since doing different types of exercises use different muscles of the body in different ways, cross-training will enhance the fat-burning systems of your muscles. In addition, you might find yourself more likely to exercise on a regular basis and for longer periods of time by mixing up your routine. Consistency with an exercise program is essential to seeing any measureable changes in weight loss and fitness, and cross-training may give your just the variety you need to stick with your exercise program!
