Can I build muscle with circuit training?

Yes,it is possible to build muscle with a circuit training routine as long as the amount of resistance being used is high enough to overload the muscles, and that there is enough volume (total sets and repetitions being performed) in the program to stimulate muscle growth. To optimize muscle gain, high levels of volume with minimal rest is required. When creating a circuit training routine, keep the repetitions for each exercise between 8 to 12, the load (intensity) at 70%-85% of your maximal effort, and give yourself no more than 60 seconds of rest in between each exercise.
