Five of the most common injuries from CrossFit training are tennis elbow, Achilles tendinitis, rotator cuff tendinitis, inflammation of the thumb's tendons (De Quervain's tenosynovitis) and low back pain.
CrossFit is an intense training program, and doctors are seeing more shoulder, knee and lumbar spine injuries, says orthopedic surgeon Luis G. Ramirez, MD, of Kendall Regional Medical Center. In this video, he describes other common sports injuries.
