When performing a single-leg, one-arm cable row exercise, you want to first select the amount of weight you want to use on the cable. Next, stand on one leg making sure that your foot is pointed forward and your abs are drawn in. Be sure that your other foot that is off the ground remains close -but not touching- the other leg you are standing on. Next, hold a handle out in front of you with your elbow extended. Place your other hand on your hip. In one continuous motion, row your arm back by bringing your thumb toward your armpit and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Be sure not to shrug your shoulders or jut head your forward. Return to the start position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions. Repeat on the other arm and leg.

Stand on one leg, facing a cable machine with your foot pointed straight ahead. Hold a cable with one arm at chest level keeping your arm extended. With your knees bent slightly, perform a row by bringing your thumb toward your underarm, squeezing your shoulder blades together and being careful not to shrug your shoulder or allow your head to “jut” forward. Hold the row for a few seconds and then return to the starting position.
