Lie down on a flat bench with your knees bent. Place your feet flat on the floor, pointed straight ahead and shoulder-width apart. Hold a dumbbell in one hand at chest level, slightly outside your body with your elbows flexed. Press the dumbbell up, fully extending your arm and hold. Return the dumbbell to the starting position.
