How do I perform a medicine ball figure 8?

Place your feet in a wide-stance position, and assume a side lunge. Hold a medicine ball in both hands placed in front of the bent knee with your chest up. Draw-in your navel, contract your glutes and tuck-in your chin. Lift the medicine ball and extend your arms to shoulder height while lunging to the opposite side. As you lunge, lower the medicine ball to the “new” bent knee. Repeat action back to the original starting position creating a side-lying figure 8 pattern. Continue lunging side to side creating the figure 8 with the medicine ball.
