How do I perform a stagger stance cable row one arm?

Wendy Batts
When performing a staggered-stance, one-arm cable row, first select the amount of weight you want to use on the cable. Stand facing the cable machine with your feet pointed straight ahead and in a staggered-stance. Your back leg should be straight while your front leg is slightly bent. Next, with one hand, hold the handle out in front of you with your elbow extended. Place your other hand on your hip. In one continuous motion, row your arm back by bringing your thumb toward your armpit and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Be sure not to shrug your shoulders or jut head your forward. Return to the start position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions. Repeat on the other arm.
Stand facing a cable machine with your feet pointed straight ahead and in a staggered stance position – your back leg should be straight and you front leg should be bent.  Hold one cable with your arm extended at chest level.  With your knees slightly bent, row by bringing the thumb of your hand toward your armpit, contracting your shoulder blades together.  Be careful not to shrug your shoulders or jut your head forward.  Hold the contracted position and then return to the starting position.  Repeat the exercise with the same arm.
