When performing a tubing row, begin by selecting your desired tubing resistance. Hold a handle in each hand and keep your feet straight and flat on floor. Next, hold the handles out in front of you with your elbows extended. In one smooth motion, row back by bringing your thumbs toward your armpits and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Be sure not to shrug your shoulders or extend head your forward. Hold for 2 seconds and return to the start position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
 
Stand facing a tubing anchor with your feet pointed straight ahead and placed shoulder-width apart.  Hold the handles with your arms extended at chest level.  With your knees slightly bent, row by bringing your thumbs toward your armpits, contracting your shoulder blades together.  Be careful not to shrug your shoulders or jut your head forward.  Hold the contracted position and then return to the starting position.
