How do I perform a standing biceps barbell curl?

Stand with your feet pointed straight ahead and placed shoulder-width apart.  Keep your knees slightly bent.  With your arms fully extended, hold the barbell against your upper thigh with your grip slightly wider than shoulder width apart, palms facing up.  Draw in your navel and curl the barbell toward your chest.  Reverse the movement as you return to the starting position.
