How do I perform a seated cable row alternate arm?

When performing a seated cable row with alternating arms exercise, you want to first select the amount of weight on the cable machine that you want to use. Next, sit up tall with your feet hip-width apart and pointed straight ahead.  Be sure to draw-in your belly button and keep your neck relaxed. Hold the handles out in front of you with your elbows extended and in one continuous motion, row one arm back by bringing your thumb toward your armpit and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Be sure not to shrug your shoulders or jut head your forward. Return to the start position and repeat on the other arm. Continue alternating arms for the desired number of repetitions.
 
Sit facing a cable machine.  Hold a cable in each hand with your arms extended at chest level.  Row by bringing one thumb toward your armpit, contracting your shoulder blades together.  Be careful not to shrug your shoulders or jut your head forward.  Hold the contracted position and then return to the start position.  Repeat with the opposite arm.
