What is edrophonium and atropine?

Edrophonium-atropine is an injectable combination medication used to reverse the effects of certain paralyzing agents (called neuromuscular blocking agents) used in surgery. It works by unblocking the nerve impulse transmission to the muscles. This medicine is given only in the hospital surgery room.
